About This Item
This line of stain-resistant, lacquer-coated wallpaper was part of the Folkwang collection that resulted from a collaboration between the Folkwang school and German firm P. & S. International, founded by Ernest Pickhardt and brothers Adolf and Rudolf Siebert in 1879. The P. & S. firm restarted wallpaper production after WWII with antiquated equipment, but within a few short years was making very hip, modern designs such as these.
