Outer chemise worn with soiling and toning, some tears and slitting to spine and edges, one folding flap detached but present. Contents Near Fine with some toning at edges. Quarter black cloth, glazed blue, yellow, and white striped paper with title information printed in black. Very Good with a little wear to foot, corners slightly bumped, edges show minor foxing. Slipped in is a typed announcement from a local wallpaper dealer dated 1957. A selection of new wallpapers, samples are bound facing b/w photos that picture that same wallpaper installed in a room design. This line of stain-resistant, lacquer-coated wallpaper was part of the Folkwang collection that resulted from a collaboration between the Folkwang school and German firm P. & S. International, founded by Ernest Pickhardt and brothers Adolf and Rudolf Siebert in 1879. Very Good+ with faint vertical crease about an inch from the left edge of the front panel running throughout all pages, another light crease along upper corner, light wear. Bright, in nice shape overall. A striking poster created for gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson for his 1970 run for Pitkin County sheriff in Colorado under the banner of "freakpower." The only one of the series that fold out to be a tabloid-style paper written by Thompson. Illustrated internally from photographs including the reprint of the controversial "Jilly" nude from Evergreen Review, plus ads. Rare signed by the artist.

Actor and comedian Robin Williams's copy, although unmarked. "Biotherm" is the last long poem of New York School poet Frank O'Hara, whose accidental death in 1966 at age 40 deprived America of one of its most vital and innovative poets. The poet and critic Bill Berkson, to whom the poem is addressed, provided an essay and compiled a glossary to explicate the references in the poem and to recount the circumstances of its writing.
