Wendell Odom, CCIE No. 1624, has a long history of writing networking books. He is the author of all the previous books in the Cisco Press CCNA Official Certification Guide series, in addition to earlier editions of CCNP certification guides (ROUTE and QoS) and many earlier editions of the CCIE Routing and Switch Official Certification Guide. He has written textbooks and produced networking videos. He also contributes to the design and to labs with the popular CCNA 200-120 Network Simulator from Pearson. His 30+ year career includes stints at IBM and Cisco and jobs ranging from network engineering, consulting, presale engineering, and teaching. His focus is working with enterprise/commercial customers to address their challenges with comprehensive end-to-end data center architectures.
