About the author

Aleron Kong has been reading sci-fi and fantasy for basically thirty years. Like many of you, he cut his literary teeth on the greats, Raymond E Fiest, Piers Anthony, Terry Goodkind, Dragonlance Chronicles, Robert Jordan, and Octavia Butler. He is also an avid consumer of more recent names, Brent Weeks, Kim Harrison, and Brandon Sanderson. In 2015, Aleron Kong discovered a new genre called LitRPG (Literature Role Playing game). It was the style of writing he had been waiting for. LitRPG was an amalgam of video games, world building and fantasy. After devouring every book in the genre, he decided to finally indulge what had been a lifelong personal fantasy, writing. Aleron toyed with the idea of writing for years, and had finally found my particular niche. His primary goal was, and still remains, to write a story that he would like to read. He says often that he is humbled and delighted that others join him in his world. Aleron is a physician of internal medicine and practices medicine in his favorite city of Atlanta, Ga. In his own words: "I am still loving the process! If you keep reading, I'll keep writing! Peace, love and the perfect margarita!"
