First line
The Journal of Homosexuality may have been criticized from time to time for its attention to lesbian concerns and the number of women contributors, but a review of the tables of contents of the Journal, from its founding in 1974, shows that at least one-fourth of the articles have been devoted to a consideration of the female experience, and that 73 women authors have contributed to its pages.
