GORDON TURNBULL went to medical school at Edinburgh University, where he gained experience in General Medicine, expedition medicine and neurology. He subsequently began his career in the RAF as a psychiatrist. In that position he became a specialist dealing with trauma and soon became a consultant attached to the Princess Alexandra Hospital at RAF Wroughton. He is currently Consultant Psychiatrist in Trauma at Capio Nightingale Hospitals in London, Consultant
