Rosenman was with Roosevelt from the New York years to his death in Warm Springs . And he was a trusted intimate throughout those years . Many of Roosevelt's most memorable words came from Rosenman's pen . After the President's death , Rosenman edited his public papers . However , this volume is more " memoir " than documentary history . Rosenman also recorder a very important oral history tape which is available at the Presidential Library at Hyde Park . This copy is clean , no marks of any kind . The hinges are tight , The navy blue color on the boards is like new and the gold graphics on the spine are bright . The dust jacket is bright with very slight wear at the edges . The dust jacket is now protected with a mylar cover .Overall , an excellent copy .
