A classic Sufi text, by Hakim Abul-Majd Majdūd ibn Ādam Sanā'ī Ghaznavi, known as Sanai, Sanai was a twelfth-century poet who wrote in Persian. "The Walled Garden of Truth" (the Hadiqat al Haqiqa) was the first Persian mystical epic of Sufism. It expresses the poet's ideas on God, love, philosophy and reason, and has been studied as a classic for centuries.
