In the guide Hudson's Bay to Haro Strait (number 1638), G J Kim Whale states, ''An account of an 1879 voyage by the Seal Islands treasury agent on patrol in the Aleutians and Bering Sea, with much on the British Columbia and Alaska coasts, plus some description of coastal settlements and Indian communities.
