Pearson and J. Cooper, after drawings by R. T. Pritchett.Brassey was a note traveller and author, best known for her account of her voyage across the world 'A Voyage in the Sunbeam', published in 1878. Collated, lacking the track chart. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards, with renewed endpapers. Externally, smart. A little light rubbing to the leather, including to the extremities. Spine is very lightly faded. Very light rubbing to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots. Collated, lacking one folding chart. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
