Signed by the author to the title page under his name. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. In the original cloth binding.Written over a ten-year period, this poetical collection is centered on William Heyen's family history and his time spent visiting a number of sites, both of which relate to the Holocaust. The central prose piece 'Erika' acts as a memoir of a day spent at Bergen-Belsen. His family ties also come into light, as Heyen is the son of German immigrants, and had an uncle who served in the German army. In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, with slight shelf wear and a light marks to the boards. Dust wrapper has light edgewear and minor sunning to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
