Papoleto Melendez/ par. pax. armistad/ May/ 1973. A Fine clean copy, tight binding, in a Very Good dust jacket that has a touch of shallow chipping at the spine, and a bit of rubbing in places. Overall a nice association copy./ Papo as he known, is a New York-born Puerto Rican poet, playwright, teacher, and activist that is closely associated with the Nuyorican Movement as one of the earliest founders. He grew up during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, Black Power movement, and the emergence of the Nuyorican Movement in Manhattan's East Harlem.
