Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at pre-lims, end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail. Peeling and loss to leather elements. Gilt lettering has become dull.
