Broderick, Sacramento area native who was killed in a duel. Complete. 7.75 inches in height by 5 inches in width, clean publisher's brick red cloth with stamped gilt title to front board and spine. Spine a bit dulled. book is tight and square with sharp points, foxing to both first and free end papers. No previous owner bookplate or writing. Top edge is a bit dusty. Book is at least Very Good Plus or better, Most presentable First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
