About This Item

Toronto: McClelland & Stewart, 2001. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. pp: 243. SIGNED FIRST EDITION. Foreword by Sean Connery. In 1977 Rubenstein went to Scotland and spend time in Dornoch in the Highlands. He found the Royal Dornoch Golf Course, once described by Herbert Wind as "the most natural course in the world". He returned to the same place some 23 years later and spent an entire summer in the area, no doubt playing golf as often as he could. This book is the story of that summer. This copy has been inscribed and signed by the author on the title page. A near fine copy in dust jacket.
