A history of the Renfrew Creamery Kings, the last small town hockey team to compete for the Stanley Cup before the NHL usurped the award. The nickname 'The Millionaires' originated after the team owner signed a number of star players to high value contracts. The book includes the team roster for 1910 and 1911, a copy of the standard player contract at the time, photographs of players and related ephemera, chapter notes, and a bibliography. A near fine copy with light wear.
