About This Item
An excellent vintage copy of one of Disney's efforts to educate America's youth about science. Published in concert with the broadcast of an episode of Tommorowland, it also served to act as an advertisement for the then new Disneyland, which had opened only a few months before.
Orange pictorial cloth covered boards with black spine and red and blue lettering on spine. Pictorial endpapers, in blue with white mathematical and scientific equations and diagrams, mimicing blueprints. Wonderful Disney produced illustrations throughout. Hardcover in VG+ condition, tiny corner edgewear. Hardcover binding is tight, and the text is bright and clean. Very slight age toning throughout as expected in a vintage book.
DJ has slight edgewear to top and bottom. Small open tear to bottom front corner (see photo). Price of $4.95 is intact.
A very collectible edition from Walt Disney Studios
