1960 hardcover as pictured. Bettina Ballard's memoir of her time as Vogue's Paris editor during the years betwen the World Wars I and II and then later in New York. The glamorous tale includes anecdotes about a cast of characters including Coco Chanel, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Christian Dior and others.Binding is firm. Black cloth boards with purple stamping are faded at edges but show only light edge wear. Endpapers lightly tanned. Text appears clean and unmarked.
