Slipcase in Fair condition. This is a large or heavy set and may require additional shipping charges to mail outside of the United States. Volume 1: Octavo, pp. [4], x-xxviii, [3]. 4-207 pages. Tan cloth-covered boards with red spine and gilt accents. Firm binding; no loose pages. Some wear to the boards and some small stains. Tanned pages and edges with a little foxing. Writing inside covers; no other writing or marks observed.

Slipcase rubbed at edges with a few small chips to paper onlay, inch-long split to one joint, else Very Good. Frank Podmore (1856-1910) was a prominent skeptical researcher of nineteeth-century spiritualism, and a key member of the Society for Psychical Research.
