Large octavo. 312 pp. 12 full color illustrations; black and white illustrations throughout, complete. Blue cloth boards stamped in black with color paper label to front. Illustrated endpapers, printed in black. No dust jacket. Boards show light edgewear. Binding is sound. Ownership page filled in and pages otherwise unmarked. Very Good or better.

The eleventh book in the Oz series, notable for Baum praising Neill's artwork, as Baum often grumbled to his publisher about the lack of humor and fun of Neill's illustrations.
