About This Item

Albert Whitman & Co, 1927. Measuring approximately 9.25" x 7" with 128 numbered pages.

This book is in fair condition. Moderate tearing to both ends of spine. Rear board has moderate scuffing and staining. Bottom left corner has light crease. Both hinges are cracked exposing mesh. Front endpaper has damage and is mostly missing. Interior pages are clean.

In the story, the young Prince Dolor, whose legs are paralysed due to a childhood trauma, is exiled to a tower in a wasteland. As he grows older, a fairy godmother provides a magical travelling cloak so he can see, but not touch, the world.
