Three volume hardcover set as pictured. Published between 1974 and 1978, these nicely made books contain vignettes of pioneer life in Steamboat Springs and surrounding Moffat County, Colorado. Each includes many photographs and illustrations. Although each appears to be a first edition, they vary a bit in appearance. Bindings are firm in all. Volume 1, bound in brown pebbled faux leather with gold stamping shows minimal shelf wear. Previous owners' names on FFEP. Volume 2, in red boards with gold stamping, also shows minimal wear. Volume three, in brown faux leather shows light edge wear and has a large scuff at front. Volumes 2 and 3 are inscribed and signed by the author. Texts of all three volumes appear clean and unmarked.
