Philadelphia: Porter & Coates, 1882. Hardcover. Second Edition. 5 x 7.5in. xii. 505pp. Illustrated with 80 engravings. Publisher's cloth boards with gilt and stamped titling and decoration. VERY GOOD. Shows marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, a small puncture of the cloth at the spine, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text remains clean and unmarked, and the boards are bright and distinct. As pictured.
