Archibald Constable, 1899. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1899. No Edition Remarks. 415 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black & white illustrations and plates. Loss of plate to page 322. Gilt top text block edge. Pull our map to rear has moderate loss. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Visible cracking to gutters & hinges, with exposed netting. Text is clear. Contains deckled text block edges. Binding is slightly shaky, however pages remain attached. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
