Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 5/8" by 5 5/8" by 1 3/8". Ex-library copy with Boots Booklovers Library sticker to front board and some presumed library label remnants to rear pastedown. No dust jacket. Reddish cloth binding, gilt lettering to spine. Marking and scuffing to binding, some discolouration to spine. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, some tearing on hinges and at spine edges. Slackness to binding though book contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and foxed, a little marking and a black marker pen mark to lower page edges which is probable sign of remaindered stock. Some foxing throughout. A little pencil marking and writing to bibliography at rear but otherwise no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
