About This Item
Chatto & Windus, 1956. 1st edition. Hardcover. Fine red boards with gilt lettering, very slight offset strips on endpapers, very clean pages. In the original unclipped dustjacket, very slight nibbling at front corners and small nick at head of spine. Nice copy of Huxley's essay expounding his 'belief that physiological fact does not invalidate spiritual meaning', a companion volume to his widely praised The Doors of Perception.
