Account of a young white woman who participated in the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee's summer project in Mississippi in 1964, from the basic training session in June to the Democratic Convention in August. Octavo: 246 p. Original blue cloth binding, with black titles. The ink signatures of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Michael Parks appear on the front endpaper. A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket with some mild edgewear.
