Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1959. First printing. Hardcover. Good/good. Blue cloth hardcover, stated first printing in dustjacket. A good+ copy, clean and solid, with some light foxing at the top of the boards, and minor crimping at the spine tips. Binding and hinges are solid and the pages are unmarked. Unclipped jacket with the $3.75 price intact is also about good but with extensive foxing to the panels, some soil at the joints, and a 1" tear at the top of the rear panel, spineward. 255 pp., the author's story of a life lived in Greece following his World War II military service.
