A scarce and interesting copy of the first edition of this work, printed for the author at the Medina Press, Newport, Isle of Wight, by B. Tilling, 1806. [First edition.] A presentation copy, signed by, (the stated "gift" of), the author "Rev. John Styles", on the front free endpaper. Original boards backed with paper as issued (rear board present but detached), xi, 137 pp., 118 x 190 mm. The text block is complete, intact, somewhat loose but holding. There is the mark remaining of a liquid stain across the corner of the prelims and extensive foxing throughout.
