Volume I (1963): "Early Anglo-Saxon - Henry III, c. 650-1272", pp. 198, [38] (illustrated plates and addenda). Blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine. Light shelfwear to edges. Light rubbing to dustjacket edges, with touch of sunning to dustjacket spine. Very Good Plus / Very Good
Volume II (1960): "Edward I - Charles II, 1272-1662", pp. 183, [22] (illustrated plates and addenda). Shiny navy-blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine. Rubbing to dustjacket edges, with a couple of small stains to front of dustjacket. Light sunning to spine and fore-edge of dustjacket. Near Fine / Good Plus.
