Reviews
On Dec 27 2015, a reader said:
The End Of Everything, on first glance, is the story of what comes next for a family when their thirteen-year-old daughter goes missing. But before you roll your eyes and think to yourself, “ugh, another book about a missing teenage girl”, let it be known that this is not really that sort of book at all.
The story being narrated by Lizzie was definitely my favourite aspect about the book. Seeing the events of Evie’s abduction through Lizzie’s naive and innocent perspective was unnerving, because as more and more of the story went on, I realized that the purer Lizzie’s thought process was about what happened, the more sinister my thoughts and beliefs, as both an outsider and an adult, became. For all its beautiful writing, it sure was an unsettling story to fall into. And to me, that's what makes thrillers so compelling.
I absolutely devoured this book, and I found it to be the perfect read to kick off the early beginnings of summer. I’d be silly not to recommend it.
