Solid text block, faint wear to edges, a fine example. In the publisher's dust jacket, $16.95 retail price, some shelf wear, light rubbing to edges of spine. Inscribed on the front free endpaper, "For Senator Mark O. Hatfield, An insider's knowledge with an outsider's independence - A true Double (Threat) Man on The Republican Team! With Best Wishes and sincere thanks for your friendship. -Bill Cohen." Senator Mark O. Hatfield (1922-2011) served as U.S. Senator from Oregon for thirty years: 1967-1997. During his tenure, the GOP Senate also included the author, Senator William S. Cohen from Maine.
