Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2006. Hardcover. Small 4to. Black cloth with silver spine lettering, dust jacket. xii, 441pp. Figures. Fine/fine. Immaculate fourth printing of an in-depth analysis of this most ancient of all surviving ancient Greek papyri, discovered in Macedonia in 1962 and the subject of intensive reconstruction and analysis ever since. These many carbonized fragments, written in the 5th century BC, appear to be commentary on the Greek religious beliefs known as Orphism.
