[3], iv-viii, [1], 8-350 pp. Red publisher's cloth with black decorations and borders on the front board and spine, a gilt decoration on the front board. Yellow endpaperse and pastedowns. Illustrated with a double frontispiece and with two plates. Part of the American Pioneers and Patriots series. With a binder's ticket from Bismarck North Dakota on the rear pastedown.
