Ellis and Elvey, 1895. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1895. Limited Edition. 436 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with vellum spine strip. Numbered 15 of 50. Rough cut on two edges. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavy damp staining to both paste downs and throughout the rear of the book. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Heavy damp staining to boards. Heavy repair attempted with thick brown tape.Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Book has a slight forward lean.
