About This Item
London: Butterworths, 1989. First edition. Hardcover. 322pp. Octavo [25 cm] Gray, white and red printed paper over boards. Very good. The edges of the spine ends and covers are very lightly bumped and rubbed, and there is a small stain on the fore edge of the text block. There is a former owner's embossed stamp on the title page. The top edges of the pages are subtly moisture rippled here and there, and the pages at the end have very light, small moisture stains in the fore edge margins. Part of the Butterworths Series in Conservation and Museology. This work is meant to be used as a textbook for conservators working with glass artefacts and painted medieval glass windows.
