With the superb b&w illustrations by John Tenniel to the Alice stories and an introduction by Alexander Woollcott. Volume wrapped in yellow, green and brown variant jacket featuring illustrations, but not those of John Tenniel. --- In Toledano spine G5 / green cloth / gilt titling on black cover & spine blocks / black topstain / 'Quad Aristocrat' GB style endpapers / jacket style Gd, verso advertises 316 titles in ML catalog.
