Big, tall quarto format, with printed, illustrated wrappers, stiff endpapers, Profusely illustrated with eight color plates and 210 black-and-white illustrations. Comprises an exhibition catalogue published to accompany the 1989 showing at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art of French a very large number of lithographic caricatures produced in France between 1816 and 1848 by over a dozen artists, including Boilly, Daumier, Pigal, and Vernet. [5], 6-188 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
