Black and white frontispiece on glossy stock plus 10 other black and white illustrations. Cesar Franck (1822 - 1890) was a pianist, organist, music teacher and composer. Contents include: The Paris Conservatoire Teaching and Concert-giving The Organist at Sainte-Clotilde Professor of Organ at the Conservatoire The Quintet and Rebecca: Two Symphonic Poems Piano Pieces and Songs Ghiselle: The Quartet Ex-library with typical treatments. Covers are soiled and there is a six inch tear from the top down of book spine and a tear across book spine, toned pages, pencilled price on fep, three creased pages. . Cloth.
