A copy of this illustrated work on Celtic mythology, poetry and romance by Charles Squire, with colour plates. In the publisher's original gilt cloth. Illustrated with a full colour frontispiece, 3 colour plates and 20 monochrome plates. Collated complete. This work was written by Charles Squire and is part of a series of works on British mythology. This work features a collection of Celtic myths, legends, poetry and romances, including a section on the famous Stonehenge and King Arthur's Castle in Tintagel. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with minor marks to the boards, slight bumping to the extremities and very slight rubbing to the front board and joints. The odd minor mark to the endpapers with newspaper clippings loosely inserted. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages and the odd spot and minor mark. Very Good Indeed
