About This Item
Signed. Limited Edition. The late Greg Guirard was a native of these parts. He spent 5 years photographing and interviewing folks in the Atchafalaya Basin in south central Louisiana. These people mostly speak French, or Cajuns. They fish and hunt and make do on their own terms. Lots of photos. There are even some recipes in there. Where else you going to get alligator fat cough syrup. This is a great book, there's really nothing else like it. The book is in fine condition. The dust jacket has a little hickey at the top right, thus very good+. The book is a Limited Edition # 493 of 900. The Author has inscribed and signed on the front free end page.
