Minneapolis: Gordon Volland/Buzza Company, 1928 Pictorial boards, light wear to extremities, small ownership stamp in three places, one page with mended tear. An amusing little book about a bear in the first year of his life. Striking color artwork throughout. John Gee was best known for his long-running comic, The Timbertoes about a family of wooden dolls. He was also the first art director for Highlights magazine for children. Bunnie Bear was one of a handful of children's books he had a hand in making. First editions are scarce. It was later reprinted by Saalfield. . Stated First Printing. Pictorial Boards.
