Inscribed by the author to the title page; "Pamela Frankau for Margit Beldi, with my love, come back soon.. London March '59". This novel was written by the popular English novelist Pamela Sydney Frankau and tells the story of David Neilson and his wife Linda. When David finds himself on a bridge, a guide helps him to relive parts of his life to discover where he needs to go. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.
