Pp. xvi+160, 23 text illustrations (mostly full, one double page) by the author; demy 8vo; beige cloth, spine lettered in gilt, the boards a trifle canted, with tiny stain to bottom edge of upper board; dust wrapper, faintly soiled and slightly creased, edges chipped and split, with closed tear along half of back flap fold, both the flaps slightly tape marked; Angus & Robertson, Sydney, 1965. First edition. *'Norman Lindsay's reminiscences of the major and minor figures in Australian literature whom he has known personally. Most of them were grouped around the Bulletin in its great days under J. F. Archibald. They include Henry Lawson, Hugh McCrae, A. G. Stephens, "Banjo" Paterson, E. J. Dyson, Louis Stone of Jonah, Steele Rudd, Tom Collins, Randolph Bedford, Miles Franklin, and many others' [wrapper blurb].
