In the publisher's plain white dust jacket, with light soiling. Title written in pencil on the spine. Publication No. 177 of The Book Club of California.

Five Hundred copies of "Baptism in Oil" were printed from the design of Ward Ritchie by the Castle Press of Pasadena.
