First edition. 8vo. 350, (2) pp. Publisher's burnt umber cloth, silver lettered to the spine, dust jacket, inscribed on the front free endpaper "For Felicity and John Wood / on their wedding day with the author's wishes for years of happiness / Peter Elstob July 22, 1978". A little light rubbing to the jacket, else very good. A novel set in the time of the Spanish civil war.
