Very comprehensive study of Ants, their structure, Development and Behavior, wrtiiten by the late Professor Wheeler, Economic Entomolgy at Harvard University, Thrid Printing 1960 stated, 663 pages, many detailed black and white illustrations as well as photographs, index and appendicies, Book is near Fine, very clean brown cloth with red and silver titles to spine, No previous owner bookplate or writing, peach topstain bright and uniform, tight and square, interior is in never read condition. Jacket is Very Good, some wear to head of spine with 1/4 inch loss, crumple along top edge of front panel, light soling to rear panel, solid and protected in a new mylar sleeve. A very clean and presenatble copy. ME. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
