New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1948. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Very Good-/Good+. 8vo. Pp. xii, [2], 3-193, vi, [1]. Bound in dark blue cloth with blindstamp device on front board, gilt lettering on spine. Slight damstain at tail of spine. In the printed dust jacket that shows age-toning and edge-wear, including a snag, now flattened by a Brodart protector, at the tail of the spine. Price of $3.00 intact on front flap. Adapted from a series of lectures a the University of Michigan's William W. Cook Foundation. The author was professor and department chair at Columbia's Department of Economics. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
