This work includes three books under the title of 'An Objectively Impartial Criticism of the Life of Man', or, 'Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson'.It is Gurdjieff's aim in this work "to destroy, mercilessly, without any compromises whatsoever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views, by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world".Gurdjieff was an important philosopher and spiritual teacher, his teaching known as "The Work", and referred to by his student Ouspensky as the "Fourth Way". Light discolouration and handling marks tot he wraps. Spine is a little sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. The occasional ink underlining to the text. Very Good Indeed
