About This Item

Little, Brown & Company, 2012. 1st Edition 2nd Printing. Hardcover. As New/As New. David McPhail color illustrations. CONDITION: UNREAD 2012 Little, Brown large hardcover (decorated boards - see scans) and dust jacket (in mylar cover), first edition, 2nd printing. PROBLEM: The top edge of the DJ shows 2 "repaired" short tears and that's why the DJ & book are rated "As New." The title on the DJ front panel is embossed in multi-colors. The boards are decorated with sleeping animals. I love McPhail's art. CONTENT: This is a book that covers a couple of bases - it's an alphabet book (of animals) and it's a bedtime story. From antlered antelope to zzz-ing zebra, all the awake animals are getting sleepy in this abridged board book edition of a favorite bedtime alphabet book, from an acclaimed author and bestselling illustrator. This exquisite celebration of language and nature is perfect for lulling little ones into a cozy, soothing slumber. Baby to -age 3+.
